This course provides practical information and problem-solving opportunities for students that will help develop the knowledge and skills necessary for survival in today's society. America's legal system will be the focal point in the areas of juvenile justice, federal and state court systems, civil law, family law, and individual rights and liberties. This course does meet ½ unit of credit for the other social studies course required for graduation.
