AP CALCULUS AB (417020AW)

Semester Course (1 unit)

Prerequisite: Precalculus

NCAA Core GPA Approved

AP Calculus is a study of functions, their derivatives and integrals, continuity, limits, and applications to physical problems. Topics from analytic geometry will be included. While some advanced algebra and trigonometry will be provided, students should have a strong background in these areas and do self-review as needed. This is a college level course. The College Board’s AP Calculus AB syllabus is followed. Extensive outside preparation is required.

Students will be required to take the AP Calculus AB exam.
