MEDIA ARTS 1 (Photography)

Quarter Course (1/2 Unit), Grade Level(s): 9-12

This course is designed to teach students how to use Photography as a medium to create art. Digital cameras are required.

MEDIA ARTS 2 (Graphic Design)

Quarter Course (1/2 Unit), Grade Level(s): 9-12

This course is designed to scaffold skills taught in Media Arts 1 and to collaborate with the Marketing class on the design and production of the items in the school store.

NOTE: Students are encouraged to take Media Arts 1 (Photography) before Media Arts 2 (Graphic Design).

MEDIA ARTS 3 & 4 (DWD TV Video Productions Broadcast)

Quarter Course (1 Unit each), Grade Level(s): 10-12

This course is designed for students who want to continue Media Arts and showcase their digital skills and provides news, information, and entertainment to the student body. Students are expected to take both sections for the school year.

NOTE: Students must have previously taken Media Arts 1 or Media Arts 2 to be considered for the course. Students interested in taking the course should see Mr. Salina for course recommendation information.

AP 2D Design (AP PHOTOGRAPHY)
